Is the flavor text of Druid of the Swarm a wink to Franz Kafkas "The Metamorphosis"?

I have not yet seen someone pointing it out, but I have noticed that the flavor text of Druid of the Swarm is very similar to the beginning sentence of the famous story by Franz Kafka.

For comparison:

As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect-like creature. (Story Version)

The Druid awoke from troubling dreams to find herself transformed into a giant spider. (Hearthstone Version)

I would really like to get some clarification on that one because I refuse to believe this is a coincidence.
