Hi /u/hadidjahb, Lord Godfrey art seems to have been retouched from the original card art (apparent bones have been hide by clothes). Do you know if the actual art will be for all servers or maybe EU and NA will get the uncensored art ?
I believe he has the retouched art in all regions, it looks like there's just the one piece of art in his folder.
Can you comment on why is he a Warlock card at all? He has nothing Warlocky about him in lore, might be more fitting for hunters.
Mechanically, the logic loop is that we wanted to create another Defile-style card, and Pistol Barrage syncs up really nicely with Defile flavor-wise (especially as far as memorable-gameplay-moments-in-WoW-in-Gilneas).
In the case of characters like him that don't have super character-defining class ties (like... teeeechnically he's a mage, but his class doesn't really matter to him like it does for Bol'var), we tend to follow a combination of the card's mechanic and the character's most memorable 'thing' to help determine where they get placed in a set, and in his case a lot of people's memories of him were about his raid fight and abilities (and him being kind of creepy and a butthead, which are very Warlock things to do). That's not always the case; sometimes the mechanic leads to the character, sometimes vice versa, sometimes everything just magically syncs up from the start, but, it's a handy sort of baseline a lot of the time.//^

:D Thanks! Having the lore to base these ones on is always so fun.
