Great nerfs, but please buff the communication!

First off, thank you 100x for the nerfs. These seem to be well done and quite clearly aimed at addressing the concerns of the community.

However, I think we need to be reminded that the communication problem is further confirmed: these nerfs came as a complete surprise. Sure there was an element of "it's f-ing Christmas!" to it, but months of bitterness and resentment built up as a result of the silence, which could have been easily dispelled with an ongoing dialogue. How many players quit in the last few months and won't come back just because of the nerfs?

Just 3 days ago, IGN published an interview discussing balance, Yogg, CoTW, etc. and the responses were basically "it's on the radar"...but clearly things were very close to being done. Why not share with us basic information like "we are working on addressing some balance issues and hope to announce something soon". That's still very vague but at least Reddit could put down the pitchforks, knowing that fixes are on the way.

Ben Brode said on Twitter that he thought their communication was fine, but I'd argue that not only is the quantity too low, but the quality is even worse.

Under-promise and over-deliver is usually a good strategy, but not like this. The community was losing all faith and trust in Team 5 due to the lack of information and vague/generalized/open-ended answers to the concerns of players who love this game.

TLDR: The nerfs are great, but the communication is still bad, resulting in a lot of upset players. Keep content/expansions as top-secret info, but share with us your thoughts and plans (even if no specifics are given) throughout the process of balance/QoL changes/updates etc. and this community will be much happier. Thanks :)
