PSA: You cannot access Standard/Wild unless you have at least one wild card in your collection

As a new player, I found this out the hard way after talking with Blizzard support for an hour - your game client will appear exactly as the old client, no Kraken, Standard/Wild option, etc - unless you have at least 1 wild card in your collection.

EDIT: You can craft a Wild card and then just click "Undo" to trigger the changeover to the new UI

Hello! I'm sorry that you had a challenges figuring out how to access Wild, but it is covered in the FAQ section of the New Way to Play blog. There was a lot of information to cover, so I'm sorry if it got a little lost in there.

As a new player, I don’t see an option for Wild format in Play Mode. How do I play in Wild Ranked or Casual?
To unlock the option to create Wild decks and play Wild format, you can craft any card that is not part of the current Standard format. If you already have such cards in your collection, then Wild format will already be unlocked by default.
