I guess every deck will have double Giggling Inventor for the next two years

I don't think I've played a single opponent since the expansion release who didn't run two copies of this card. It's a good card for sure, but already getting super annoying. Looks like two long, wonderful years ahead of us.

I think having strong neutral Taunts are generally pretty good for the game. They make minion combat more interesting and contribute in different ways to aggressive, control and combo decks. Sludge Belcher, Tar Creeper, Chain Gang, etc. That said, there is still a line of population and power level for these cards that shouldn't be crossed. We'll continue monitoring the data and perception around Giggling Inventor to make sure it doesn't cross that line, it's a little too early to tell.

It's also the 2nd most picked card in Arena + top 5 card in Arena in deck win rate. In Arena where there is even less answers and not every deck can reliably draft counters, people slamming this down on turn 5 is brutal for the other party. I can guarantee you that the Arena community consensus is that we don't like this card: it's insanely strong for its mana cost, it's a limited format with rarely any answers, it's under-bucketed when it should belong in the top or 2nd top bucket, easy.

If it's only a problem of bucket, then that is easily solvable. Obviously there are always going to be a top 5 of cards, and this one doesn't strike me as one so bad to be one of the better ones. Now that we've been able to collect a bunch of information regarding Boomsday Project, we'll likely and do another pass at where the cards belong in terms of bucketing.
