Isn't the animation a little bugged though? Whenever my opponent attacks with it the hammer seems to come from the wrong direction.

She's such a boss and does such amazing work giving the game its flow. I remember some of her comments on reddit about adjusting timing by tenths of a second just to make sure it all felt right. It's very telling that the game feels as polished as it is, when minor rough spots like Spreading Plague's slowness stick out like they do.
