Hearthstone connects and Hearthstone will be with us for ever.

Hearthstone has been a great and interesting experience for me and probably also for many of you. Today I want to share a little story with you all, to show that Hearthstone is not all about toxicity or metadecks.

Hearthstone is a big game with now over a 100. Mio. players and I never thought i'd find the love of my life here.

A little more then two years ago, I was joining the r/hearthstone discord channel to share experiences and to look for guides, assistance and just in general people who enjoy the same passion / game as I do. I was talking to a lot of different people from all over the world, while being in Germany myself. It was absolute fascinating, to have such a connection with only some "child's game".

A few months after I joined the server, I've met a girl, who I enjoyed a lot talking to and discussing decks with her. We texted for a while and we decided to have a long distance relationship. She was from the US while I was eating my Sauerkraut and Bratwurst in Germany. Eventually, we decided we wanted to see each other, to see how each other is in person. So she booked a ticket in Summer to come seeing me in Germany and you can not believe what a great feeling it was, to be with her.

After we enjoyed some of our team together I noticed, she is the one and only. She is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. I proposed to her and she was holding me tight with a big Yes!

And today on the 15th of November, a year after proposal, a year after working on visa and having a great journey already, we got married. I cannot believe I met someone so special through a little paper game on the computer. I want to share this with the world, to show that wherever you go, that you will find your special one. Even through a "child's card game".
