Can you still get the fireside cardback?

I just logged on with a laptop / deskop and ipad .. played 3 games against both alt accts and got nothing.

Can you not get it anymore or does the ipad not count as a connection?

odd :(

What is a subnet? Basically, a chunk of a network. Hearthstone uses the Players Near Me feature to see who is on the same subnet as you. They can be people you do not know, or your friends. Play 3 games versus these people on the same subnet, get the card back! You can even do it from the privacy of your own home as long as you have 3 people on your subnet playing Hearthstone.

We had to specify subnet since sometimes, larger networks (like colleges or businesses) split their networks into smaller chunks. Those small chunks are subnets. Since Players Near Me will only detect people on your same subnet, you gotta all be playing on that same chunk to be eligible for the card back. If you're on a home network, you should be totally fine.

That's a quote from the FAQ in the forum link I posted earlier, and that's probably the best way to describe it without pretending to know more than I do about IT.

Three friends have to be nearby, and you all have to be on the same subnet. Basically, the other accounts should show up on 'Players Near Me'. There's a longer explanation here:

Of course, you could always drop by FiresideGatherings.com and see if there's a gathering nearby instead. The Fireside Gathering Championship events are also happening now, so if you have the skills to win a local tournament, you could earn a spot in the qualifier that leads to the World Championship at BlizzCon.
