How do you start playing hearthstone?

There are so many decks and cards I have no idea where to begin how do advanced players start learning everything to hearthstone any beginner tips?

Welcome to Hearthstone! (I did that in my best Innkeeper voice)

I always point new players to Trump's Teachings, a series of YouTube videos that's GREAT at teaching basic principles like controlling the board, making favorable trades, etc. etc.

The other thing is more of a mindset thing - remember that even the best players in the world only win the game just over 50% of the time. So don't sweat losing, it doesn't mean you're doing bad. Learn from both wins and losses, and just have fun trying stuff! Watching streamers (especially now, at the start of the expansion, when they talk about the cards more) is a great way to learn.

The single-player content (click on "Solo Adventures," then scroll down to Kobolds & Catacombs or anything that catches your fancy) uses cards from all of Hearthstone's history so it can be a little intimidating, but it's a great low-pressure way to play with lots of stuff and learn some game mechanics and fun combos.
