Kibler’s been my favorite Hearthstone streamer since day 1. Glad to see he’s stuck around all this time with no end in sight. Guy always has a great stream that’s: educational, entertaining and not full of much salt. I’m sure I sound like a fanboy, and I suppose you could say that I am, but it’s nice to see someone stay so loyal to this game through the ups and the downs while many other streamers have moved on to other games.
Quick shoutout to Trump and Thijs as well for maintaining a similar level of enthusiasm and enjoyment for this game all these years.
Agreed, Kibler is a solid dude who deserves a lot of credit. He's great at what he does!
Adding Kripp to the shout out list... all three of those dudes are fantastic!
Yeah, not going to watch another three caster reveal stream. I'm really disappointed; reveal streams are some of my favorite content. I'm not upset that they decided to try something different last time, but the disaster of Chris constantly talking over Cora and the negative community response that followed pretty much showed that it was a failed experiment.
Chris, I see you're in here responding to comments; I'm sure you were just nervous/over-excited last time, and I hope you do better this time around. You've got a steep hill to climb and I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. But I still won't be tuning in.
I’m curious, did you watch the second livestream for Rise of Shadows? We changed up format and it went a lot smoother. We will be echoing that for this livestream.
I'll be honest with you; I did not. Like a lot of people, I was pretty frustrated with the stream with Cora - and it did have a lot to do with the format (I'm not putting all that on your shoulders, that'd be pretty unfair).
Like I said, I know it's a steep hill to climb to try and rebuild community hype after a stumble - I know I'd dread it in my job (and Reddit/Twitter can get nasty; I shudder to think about working under that level of scrutiny.)
That said, I did really love the dynamic of one streamer + one developer for the reveals beyond simply a nostalgia thing. But you're out here trying to change hearts and minds, and I can see that. Maybe I'll go check out the VOD of the second stream and see if I like the format better: no promises I'm going to like it, though ;)
You should tune in to this one and see how you like it then! Feel free to send feedback directly to me @Chris_Attalus on Twitter once it ends.
The goal for having me on there is to have an official Blizzard representative help guide the structure of the livestream... be more of the host, if you will. That allows Brian and Peter to focus on what they do + know best, gameplay. I can make sure we don't forget cards, set proper expectations with the community, and give all of the necessary call-outs. In the past, we haven't done a great job of that.
The new format wasn't perfect on round 1, which is why we took the feedback and made changes. We will continue to do so, as anything new is never perfect on the first try.
Hi Chris :) good luck on this stream!! Experience makes the master as we say in germany...
How can we hear more from you in between expansion reveal streams?
Appreciate that, thank you! Agreed! Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter: @Chris_Attalus
