It seems like the free event card versions of the cards will only be around until the end of October, after which you’ll either have to have your own copies or craft them (only to have them in Standard for the next month...?). Hopefully you’re right and “event” in this case means that the event cards will be around for the whole two-month period.
Blizzard really needs to clarify this, it’s still pretty confusing even with the additional note.
You'll have the event cards for about 2 months. We wanted to kick off the Wild cards in a big way as part of Hallow's End but they will last longer than that event.
Yes they will be given to you for free but only during the length of the event which is the 8th-30th. After that they will be removed from your collection and you can't disenchant them prior.
