How to stop playing Hearthstone?
Don't hate me but I'm here for constructive help.
I'm a huge whale but gradually over time I've found myself playing the game less and less to the point I've hardly even touched this latest expansion.
I have every damn card in the game and it actually upsets me to think I may even of thought about leaving a game that have brought me so much joy and got me through so many bad times in my life.
The facts are I have found a game that's very different but equally as addictive to me (apex legends)
Have any of you got any suggestions to a good way to stop playing or maybe ween myself off the game slowly?

Big plus one to DoNothing's comment. I have a really hard time with sunk cost fallacy too, and one of the things I've found that helps me move on is to view the things I spent money (or time, or anything) on as a series of individual events that were enjoyable while they lasted. Like how I'd view having spent a lot of money on concerts in the past - they were finite events and a bunch of them were super fun, but that doesn't mean I'm under any obligation to keep being a concert person if I just don't like concerts anymore.
It's a weird mental trick but it helps me? At it's core it's probably just practicing mindfulness and acknowledging in real-time that you aren't actually enjoying yourself anymore, and you deserve to be spending your current time (and money, if it's got a cost attached) on something that makes you happy. Best of luck, I hope you find that new something.:)
