I'm looking forward to this set! Out of curiosity, did you experiment with pairing different classes? I think you nailed the pairings and I'm just more curious than anything else. For example, was something like shaman/rogue considered since they both can manipulate mana (overload/shadowstep)? Can't wait for the expansion to drop!

We've been toying with the idea of Dual-Classes since back in Witchwood IIRC. I think we had these pairings (or very similar) back then, but since we only had 9 classes back then, it was a bit trickier to pull off. When we added Demon Hunter and had 10 classes to play with, things just really all came together, especially with the theme of the set revolving around the school of magic and double majors. We had done a ton of work on class identities and this was a way for us to really lean into that for these classes to show off the uniqueness and similarities of each in a fun new way. A lot of the pairings just kind of made sense off the bat and it was more about finding the cool cards that could bridge the two classes without feeling too out of place in that class.
