non-minion spell can't be played with 7 minions on board

I was goofing around in single player mode against the expert bot. Had 7 minions on board as a demon hunter. I played steward of scrolls as my 7th minion, discovered relentless pursuit.

The game didn't allow me to play it and gave the 'you have too many minions to play that', although relentless pursuit has, as a true demon hunter card, no interaction with minions.

Seriously? This has been posted about since it was released.

And yet, saying thank you for the report is still appropriate imo

I guess it's polite, sure, but to say "Thanks for the report" which was a report on something that has been reported on constantly and not saying "We are aware of this issue and working on it" or something of the sort is just... ugh... And if you guys aren't working on it that's really messed up.

You also make it sound like it's a literal 1->0 change that could have easily come in the last patch which is really sad tbh.

Respond to a thread to talk about how things like this happen. Say thank you for report. Check to see if it's tracked internally for a fix, because I don't work on Duels and I don't know. It is.

When you use the spell it summons an invisible minion that is coded to make it so your hero doesn’t take damage when swinging a weapon. A lot of spells are programmed like this. Only problem is someone forgot to set it to ignore your board space when played.

Spells do not summon invisible minions. What normally happens is that someone creates a card that summons minions and checks a box that prevents casting when you have a full board. Later on, that same card is cut and redesigned into something else that doesn't summon minions. The person who does the redesign forgets to uncheck the box and it slips past testing and QA to live.

What are you even talking about?

Ugh, downside of checking into multiple fixes simultaneously. Same answer, though. I haven't fixed a bug for a couple years, so I generally don't know what stage low priority bugs are in. Have to check after seeing reports.
