@calligraphymmo @JeffAHamilton I dunno if it's false advertising... But it's definitely sketchy. I think I saw DoorDash say they would always label them as such, which is nice. It's actually annoying because sometimes I want to order one item from one menu, and another from another menu, but can't.

@calligraphymmo @JeffAHamilton Like I'd love to order a taco from Resident Taco, and my gf order a burger from Umami Burger... Which *should* be possible, because they're literally the same kitchen... but you can't because they're listed as separate restaurants.

@Celestalon @calligraphymmo Yeah I don't think it literally should be classified as false advertising, it just feels like a lesser version of that to me when I see them, is all I mean. I feel deceived

@JeffAHamilton @calligraphymmo Yeah... I mean on one hand, I do really like the concept though. Umami Burger is Umami Burger, and they're pretty tied to their style of food. If I'm scrolling through the possible places to order from, and I'm not interested in what I know is at Umami, I'll just keep scrolling.

@JeffAHamilton @calligraphymmo So if they decide to do something way outside their normal menu, I'd never know it. But this way, I will see and at least consider it. So in that regard, it's a big benefit to me. They make a bomb as taco, and I'd never know if they didn't do this.

@JeffAHamilton @calligraphymmo I just wish it showed up in the app as RESIDENT TACO from Umami Burger (smaller font) or something. (Then again, why does that even matter to me? Just so I know I can't go there in person? I dunno.)
