@Frodan EV of playing these games as a pro is well below min wage. You can't make a reliable living off these games by being a player. Poker is the closest thing we have but it's also tied with the gambling industry so... Until then, i'll be on the other side of the fence on this one.

@IksarHS @Frodan I don't know how involved you are with esports in hs, but the fact you said this & mort liked this makes me think you both think tft & hs should be in esports, considered an esport & respected as an esport both from within and from outside. Similar thoughts of mine are echod from

@IksarHS @Frodan a significant portion of players within both communities & obviously outside communities as well seeing as frodan wouldn't make this post in the firstplace if not. Making a twitlonger response to frodan about luck/skill/competition/financials/esports - i ultimately hope it end

@IksarHS @Frodan s up being a brick in the road towards progress for the better within strategy game competitions. It might be a bit since there's alot of ground to cover though...

@TidesofTime @Frodan I think whether or not an individual calls somethings an esport is always going to be subjective. If your stake in the ground for what does or doesn’t qualify is if a pro can make money doing it, does that mean sports where you normally don’t earn a living aren’t sports?

@TidesofTime @Frodan If the average hurdler or gymnast or swimmer can’t earn a normal living doing what they do does it mean those aren’t sports?
