Thinking today about how Blizzard finally put a woman in charge, but gave her a male co-lead and then gave neither of them an executive title. Not even President. I have heard fantastic things about Jen Oneal, but wow does this feel like a token effort at best.

@CallMeQuestifer I met Jen a few times working on some of the Activision student mentoring and diversity programs. She always impressed me immensely.

@Silirrion I'm mostly wondering why she only got half the job, tbh. Not questioning her skillset or aptitude at all. Women have to outperform their peers by orders of magnitude to rise through the ranks anyway, and I read that she was co-lead at VV. Really want this to be a good thing.

@CallMeQuestifer @Silirrion I've only ever heard great things about her too. I don't know, but I imagine her being an outsider to Blizz may have been a factor.

@Celestalon @CallMeQuestifer Quite possibly. Even from my occassional experience working with her, I have confidence she is up to this job, and yes Jen, I agree, it is obviously harder for women to advance at these levels, so I'm happy to see this as progress.

@Silirrion @Celestalon @CallMeQuestifer Old news but odd they are no co-presidents. Shrug probably nothing.
