WHY. Unsuprising, though. Reminds me of my hometown or any of the rural areas around where I grew up. Makes me sad. https://t.co/HaFFWIhnEA

In general I find stuff like this to stem from rich and educated people telling poor and uneducated people that they are idiots. Just generates a defensive reaction and pulls both sides away from each other no matter what the topic is.

@IksarHS The tweet calls the location of this school board meeting the wealthiest place in Tennessee. So in this case would it not be the rich being ignorant and uneducated? Doesn’t have much to do with poor people here.

@TravyMatty So, this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. The wealth of a place has a significant impact on the education and culture of the people. Because you happen to be a rich or poor person within that place doesn't mean you are unimpacted by the culture around you.

@IksarHS I don’t know. There’s a Twitter transcript of the town hall and the pro mask speakers don’t seem to be condescending so much as trying to use sympathy and facts.

@musicalcolin Definitely not speaking on behalf of the doctors that spoke at the town hall.
