Are there any large dev teams out there that do keep a hard barrier of CMs between devs/players? What pros/cons do you see if so?

also you would know better than me, but I seem to remember Bungie being mostly CM led in terms of communication even though devs are also active

I guess it feels like Bungie Devs talk to the community precisely because they do it SO MUCH, but yeah, I guess it is almost entirely through a layer of CMs. Curious how they feel that works? @A_dmg04
