Can we get some clarification on the preferred way to refer to Protectors/Fighters/Casters? - This tweet calls them ‘classes’ - The blog uses ‘roles’ Might be using this for… something. https://t.co/wAzdUqPNan https://t.co/QyuiSW2PaC

@TiagoTaparelli “Roles” is the official term. Sometimes things get mixed up just to vary casual language, or because we have different teams working on different things.

@TiagoTaparelli Also, the official in-game term for the group of mercs you take into a fight is a “Party,” but “team” is an acceptable alternative that we sometimes use for copy and casual conversation.

@hsdecktech Yup, that makes perfect sense 👍 I remember when ‘warband’ was being used during Battlegrounds’ release, but the community eventually settled on ‘composition’, ‘comp’ or just ‘board’

@TiagoTaparelli Right, there’s that, too. Sometimes the community just decides for you what things are called. :)

@hsdecktech Thanks for confirming. That was a genuine question and not meant to be a complaint, in case that’s how it came across! 😅

@TiagoTaparelli No worries! The terms shifted at times during development, so we might miss one or two sometimes, but I’m a big fan of having set language, terms, and styles.
