My take on the current HS direction is they have lost touch with what makes the game fun for many of us. Super efficient combo/aggro decks that dominate don't allow for experiences that we can share. With little to no value, control, long games, there's no fun stories to tell.

It makes every game feel the same, a race to kill, or be killed. There's rarely a back and forth, there's rarely even that "OMG" Hearthstone moment. Its just the same blueprint to follow every game and it doesn't lead to fun or rewarding experiences.

@ZeddyHS That's why I haven't purchased a set since... What was the one that came with dragons? I paid for it but never played it but I'm regretting that because it seems like the last good meta.

@Hazard_MTG Descent of Dragons and yes a lot of this started after that which was the disastrous launch of Demon Hunter in Ashes of Outland. Scholomance Academy was actually pretty ok and Darkmoon Faire to an extent but other than that its been very rough.

@ZeddyHS What's funny is I did a mock-up of my own dark Moon Fair set to turn in as a sort of hearthstone Dev resume thing that I never fully completed and Chad DM me to see it and I never sent it to him and I think he felt rebuffed by that. And then the dark Moon Fair set came out.

@Hazard_MTG @ZeddyHS Gonna just clarify that Chadd was not the set lead for DMF.
