I'm traveling (domestically) soon, and wanted to get a covid test before I go, just to be sure. (No symptoms or any expectation that I caught it or anything, just want to be extra safe before I visit at-risk family.) But I can't find anyone is offering rapid tests anymore? wtf?

      @Celestalon CVS doesn’t?

        @Slysssa Checked CVS, Wallgreens, and RiteAid. All are only offering PCR (1-3day) in CA, as far as I could tell. I've gotten rapid (30-60min) ones at CVS twice in the past, but I can't find any available for that type anymore.

          @Celestalon @Slysssa PCR is extremely accurate, so probably best to just get that.

            @CrunchTime4L @Slysssa Won't get results before I travel, unfortunately.

      @Celestalon From what I understand, I know Walgreens/CVS offer at home tests. What's shitty is the price ($24?) but better than waiting for results, more or less

        @LawrenciumPro Ohhhhhh, I didn't realize those were widely available now. I don't mind paying $24 for an at-home test, will check those options out. Thanks!

      (What I've learned from the replies is that rapid testing services have basically been replaced with widely available cheap at-home tests. Didn't know that, I can just grab one of those. Thanks all!)

        @Celestalon Where do those come from? Just like…cvs or whatever?
