        @Caaethil @discord Completely agree. Thus the seriousness of our response. But it doesn’t mean that this direction is set in stone. Based on the reaction, they can still adjust course. In other words, I haven’t canceled my Nitro yet, but I will if this project is officially announced.

      @Celestalon @discord I’m sad people are so hostile towards crypto/NFT. I read the reddit post and it is all rather biased imo. Ethereum is just one of the blockchains offering NFT’s currently, plus they could use a L2 for lower fees and less energy usage.

        @Celestalon @discord In 2022 Ethereum L1 will release PoS, which will lower energy usage tremendously (btw the whole energy consumption is a bit of a weird argument as energy usage in mining actual gold or the banking sector is currently way higher then crypto)

          @Celestalon @discord NFT are currently very confined in a space with few people but it is growing. And NFT’s are not just useless JPEGs. They can be utility focussed (a hearthstone card could be an NFT for instance and you could give users way more freedom trading cards among themselves).

            @Jeppe15 @discord No, Hearthstone cards as NFTs would be utterly pointless, because they don’t exist without Hearthstone.
