Until Deadmines the lack of a card explicitly excluding itself from it's effect has so far indicated that it does include itself. Brilliant Macaw changed that. If it's functionality isn't a bug can we get updated text? @Celestalon @IksarHS https://t.co/RNPahzufnZ

      @D0nkeyHS @IksarHS Can you clarify what you mean?

        @Celestalon @D0nkeyHS @IksarHS The battlecries Shudderwock casts for Macaw are whatever you played before excluding macaw. So, if you play a macaw that recasts shudderwock, that isn't going to cast a bunch of shudderwocks that were macaws.

          @heygrapejamy @Celestalon @IksarHS I mentioned Shudderwock because it has the closest affect to Macaw and "correct" wording, not because of the interaction between the two. Shudderwock says other battlecries and it doesn't count it self. Macaw doesn't say other battlecry yet it also doesn't count itself.

            @D0nkeyHS @heygrapejamy @Celestalon @IksarHS But if it says “last battlecry played” and technically battlecries happen before the card is “fully played”, that also excludes the parrot’s battle cry since it repeats the previous battlecry. Am I talking in circles already? 😅

              @RaneTDF @heygrapejamy @Celestalon @IksarHS I'm talking about playing two Macaws in a row. Not playing 1 Macaw

                @D0nkeyHS @RaneTDF @heygrapejamy @IksarHS Hmmm... So you're seeing this, right? 1. Play Mad Bomber. 2. Play Macaw (Bomber). 3. Play Macaw (Bomber). And you'd expect... this? 3. Play Macaw (Macaw (Macaw (<infinite loop or nothing>))).
