@hsdecktech Wait, if it was already known for that long, why didn't we know? It feels like pretty crucial information to communicate to players, either as a "play it until it's gone" or a "don't worry it'll be gone by X", depending on how each person feels about the event.

@Jkirek_ There are always reasons for why we plan the beats when we do, but those reasons aren’t always something we can share publicly. I don’t have a satisfying answer I can share, just that it seemed like the best move at the time.

@hsdecktech @Jkirek_ My question in this case is: Would saying roughly "We heard you feedback and are currently considering options" not be a great way to at least acknowledge that work is happening and by doing so communicate to the player that 'constructive' feedback matters? Thanks :)

@MinderRoots @Jkirek_ Sure, I mean, we continually say that about all kinds of feedback.

@hsdecktech @Jkirek_ I have missed this than. Could you point me to some tweets doing so? I don't wanna miss this in the future than :)

@MinderRoots @Jkirek_ Some examples off the top of my heard include Dean’s weekly AMAs (currently on pause because he’s on leave), the “State of the Mercenaries” post, and many tweets of this sort from folks like Dean, Alec, or Celestalon about various nerfs being considered.

@hsdecktech @Jkirek_ So we have an AMA not currently happening, "State of the Mercanaries" not helping me for BGs. I follow Dean Alec or Celestalon and CHECKED their post history and even their replies. Non of the issues we are were having are talking about. If close to the most active members (1/x)

@MinderRoots @hsdecktech @Jkirek_ Dean's AMAs being gone (since he's out at the moment) are definitely being felt. We're talking about alternatives to fill that hole.

@hsdecktech @Jkirek_ don't know where to get clear answers in between a lot of other random tweets this is bad communication IMO. Im sure you did a lot of things but the point still stands: People don't see it the same way. There is something lacking that needs to be addressed

@MinderRoots @Jkirek_ If you're specifically talking about Diablo in BG, then there hasn't been much chatter about it because: 1) it was already scheduled to leave after the short period; and 2) the negative feels have only been around for pretty much while we've been out of the office.

@hsdecktech Just for my own curiosity: if so many prominent community members hadn't clearly shown their dislike of diablo in BGs, would we have still seen dom's tweet today?

@Jkirek_ I can’t speak to why Dom tweets from his personal Twitter. My guess is “no,” you would have just gotten the normal planned beats when we got back into the office.

@hsdecktech Does this mean he was going to be removed regardless of the reception as long as the stats reflected what they currently do?

@MyNameUwU1 He was always intended to be a temporary BG event, yeah. This is the initial announce, for instance: https://t.co/JnH7cskS6r
