Serena is such a mean harpy! It’d be *ultra* mean if you attacked and killed the drained minion with her, wouldn’t it? https://t.co/ioZpn96M7m

@Celestalon Hi Celestalon, as an avid wow shadow priest player and being happy about shadoform coming back... where is the actual shadow support? Even warlock got it :(

@ChivitoK Just to set expectations, Priests will explore a "Shadow Priest" archetype in the Year of the Gryphon, but it won't be during Forged in the Barrens. Priests will definitely have other ways to win games in Forged in the Barrens though.

@Celestalon @ChivitoK I don't see that win condition. But what I don't understand is why in the name of Anduin did you nerf Shadowform, and then give that power to Mages instead? Drawing a dead card (2nd copy) in a class that has no card draw is a huge drawback... It's a nerf, not a buff.

@bbboyce18 @ChivitoK Shadowform isn't going to see a ton of play in Forged in the Barrens, and that's OK. Not all Core cards will be immediately used; there's still 2 more expansions and 3 more minisets coming. It'll have its time.

@bbboyce18 @ChivitoK And if you're looking for a "win condition" by looking for cards that say "Win the game.", I think that's setting yourself up for disappointment. Rather, there's several ways that Priest can win games; high value control, healing synergies, big minions, Rally stuff, etc.

@Celestalon @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK Hi Celestalon, just wanted to clarify that most of us Priest players do not expect a card that says "I win the game," but rather, a card that leverages our deck's strengths to close out a game instead of simply grinding our opponent out of resources.

@Celestalon @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK As an example, imagine playing Token Druid without Arbor Up, Savage Roar, and Solar Eclipse. Or playing a Control Warlock without Tickatus or Envoy Rustwix. Cards that are a centerpiece, or provide an end goal to your deck's strategy.

@Celestalon @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK Given the current speed of the game, pure value or control simply does not work at legend ranks anymore. There is a reason why Enrage Warrior is stronger than pure Control Warrior right now - you can control the board but also end the game with a damage combo.

@Celestalon @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK The two competitive Priest decks right now are Resurrect or Highlander. Resurrect relies on huge board swings with resurrect mechanics, while HL almost purely relies on Zephrys and DQA as finishers. Priest loses BOTH of these decks, and has gotten nothing to replace them.

@Celestalon @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK I apologize for the long thread of Tweets, but wanted to start a constructive conversation on this. Priest is strong in Wild because it has a proactive strategy. The cards revealed don't give much hope for proactive play and that's why we're frustrated.

@TonberryBleu @bbboyce18 @ChivitoK I appreciate the constructive conversation! I think today's streams are highlighting a lot of the ways that Priest has to win. And FWIW, "simply grinding our opponent out of resources" is absolutely a win condition.
