I've noticed the completely understandable confusion/misuse of "mob" in the context of games. What it doesn't mean: -Group of monsters. That's a "pack" What it does mean: -Single monster. Why? Because it stands for "mobile object," which was important in ancient times

        @olandgren Haha, no doubt. One of my favorites from MMOs in particular was "pat" to refer to "patrol." It sounds a lot like "pack" on voice, which wasn't a problem we had in a text-only world "I'm going to grab that pat" can be contextually confusing if you mishear
