Dallas hasn't kept his food down today. Talked to the vet and just keeping an eye on him through the weekend, fingers crossed just an upset tummy. https://t.co/tBmIYEGROD

He's been getting sick about every hour, so we're taking him in because I dont want to risk waiting too long:(

His fever has gone down a tiny bit and he's stopped vomiting, but the ultrasound shows something going on in the intestines. They're letting him get some more fluids and then will be looking again to see if its inflammation or an obstruction. Gonna try to get some sleep now.

His fever is back up and the second ultrasound confirms something going on, and his pancreas is also inflamed. They need to do exploratory surgery and see if jts blockage or something else.

Surgery went well - he had something he had clearly eaten that he shouldn't have and it was big enough they could ease it out without having to do anything more invasive. So as long as he can keep food down overnight, I should be able to bring him home tomorrow.

They saved what it was he had eaten so we can try to identify it and make sure he can't get into something like it again. I'm so grateful that the staff was so quick to take care of him and got him into recovery. they've also told me he's been very sweet and aware.
