@IksarHS If I may ask, what is your approach to asking questions? (I'm asking so forwardly because I know you'd have good advice) - how do you handle dancing around a subject that's touchy, especially to a higher-up? Much love Iksar, thank you.

@_onlyRonan Knowing your payband helps, usually a medium/large company will share with you what the range of pay is for your role. I have also asked questions like why I was paid less than many direct comparables across the company, without using names but having the info.

@_onlyRonan And it shouldn't really be touchy. If one of my reports wants to talk about their pay in every 1 on 1 I'm happy to do that. Some managers are uncomfortable talking about pay, which is a huge problem.

@_onlyRonan Your higher-up or manager should really be your first resource. If they are worth anything they'll be able to talk at length about your pay, how it relates to your performance, and what the future might hold.
