@Celestalon I replied with a question to Joe's thread, but I'd like to ask here too. How would someone without a game dev degree go about showing their understanding of some of the principles of game design? Would a small scale project/game be welcome as an addition to the application?

@ArchivistOwl Absolutely. Ultimately, your application and design test will be the biggest deal, but a portfolio of small indie games you've made is an excellent addition.
