The Dreamhack Summer Globals broadcast was really good today
There has been some issues here and there but nothing major. Hopefully it's the same team now that will be doing the weekend show as well. Because they will only get better at this. It did start really early today though. Which is surprising on a Monday.
The studio is really good. Production looks really high quality. I wish they were streaming in 1080p instead of 720p. I really liked that they highlighted a few heroes with picks and win rates at the bottom during the draft. Also, during the post draft talk the draft was visible at the bottom of the screen. We also finally got to see the actual brackets which were missing during the Dreamhack regionals.
The event also went really smooth. No breaks between games, and 10 minute breaks during sets. There was some minor issues but all handled without going to commercials and instead the casters kept talking.
As the team gets more comfortable, they should be able to iron out what small issues there was today. Looking good so far. But please 1080p stream. Pretty please.
