Hello, this is Wiz. I want to explain my situation right now.
Hello, my name is Wiz and I am currently playing in the NA server.
Since a lot of you guys are wondering how I am doing nowadays, I wanted to write this post to tell you guys a little bit about myself as well as my situation right now.
I started playing in the NA server in August 21st of 2015, so it's already been a little bit over half a year..
At first, I was simply fascinated by the idea of playing in a different country other than my native country, South Korea.
So I decided to challenge myself and start fresh in a new environment. Meanwhile, a NA team named Stellar Lotus sent me an offer to play for them, so I started my NA journey with them.
I started as #58 ranked player in September, reached #2 in October, and #1 in both November and December(also had #86 smurf). And last month, my smurf reached #8.
While playing in the NA server, what I felt the most was that the people here are very open-minded, kind, nice, and every single one of them treated me like family. While learning new things here, my attitude towards NA region changed drastically. Now, my dream and my goal is to grow and play with the people in NA region.
However, right now it is very difficult for my dream to come true. That is because the rules of NA tournaments says that all participants must be a professional player in the United States, or they must have lived in the United States for over 6 months. Thus, I am currently unable to participate in any tournaments in the NA region.
So our coach from Stellar Lotus, ESVDiamond, have contacted Blizzard about this situation. However, Blizzard has not given us any response for a very long time.
I really want to fulfill my dream with my family in the NA server, and play as a professional player in NA region.
If anyone from Blizzard has the opportunity to read this post, I would really appreciate it if you could give me a chance. This dream to play in NA is the only thing that I have been focusing on.

Although the results weren't what we hoped, I was really happy that I could be with you guys until the end.
During my time with Steallar Lotus, a lot of good teams have sent me offers, and I do not regret a single bit that I rejected all of them.
To my coach Diamond: you were the best coach and I hope you don't feel sorry for me.
To nightmare: we always called each other trolls and made fun of each other, but that was because I felt like we were such good friends. You have really high potential and I know you will be great in the future.
To YoDa: I learned and continue to learn a lot from you. Thank you
To Toejamnearl: I hope you get more confident. Your heals were as amazing as your personality.
And to Stellar Lotus: you guys worked hard and I really thank you guys for everything you've done for me.
If Blizzard should remain stubborn, I will still be looking to chase my dream, and so if any team is looking for a coach with my skillset I would like to hear from you
Tl:dr I want to play in NA because I love you all, please help me make Blizzard aware!

The last time I personally talked to Diamond was on last Monday night, after which I went straight into preparations for the NA Regional.
I totally understand your frustrations.
Now I'm not a lawyer so I can't speak directly to the reasons why the 6 month rule has been in place since before I was at this company, but I can say that I'm looking into it.
I can't say for certain if anything will change and if it does I don't know if it will be in time for this upcoming season. So what I can say again is that I am looking into this for you, Gorejaws, and for anyone else that feels like they want to dedicate their play to a specific region other than the one they're currently residing in.
