Why theres so little Esports discussion in this sub?

I really like competitive HotS. Its fast, fun, has decent diversity and plenty of comebacks. However i hardly see it getting any attention in here. Threads which discuss pro matches are from extremely few to non existant, there isnt any hype for the upcoming matches, these few post match threads only have like 40-50 comments, only a little minority has team flairs etc etc

Why is it that way? Subs of other games are filled with pro scene discussion. I get that HotS is still new but thats exactly why it should get big hype at its start.

Im quite disappointed from this because i always like to talk about this kind of stuff in reddit, thing i do to all the other Esports i follow (CSGO, Smash, LoL, Starcraft)

Quick question about schedules. I noticed the site you linked displays future schedules, but is there anyway to see past tournament ladder results? A lot of times I end up watching old tournaments but it's hard to view the matches in order when I cant find a snapshot of which teams played.

At the moment our site doesn't have results on it. Working on that!

From what I can tell, its more like no one wants to take the initiative (creating threads, starting discussion, etc).

Props to you for the stuff you did for Korea btw. Those threads were so awesome <3

Is it possible to have a battle net launcher window for hots dedicated to upcomming esports stuff? I have to rely on a google chrome app and the side bar here to know when evens are. I would say I follow the scene more closely than a lot of people. (I was up late watching korea the other days) but it is a difficult scene to follow.

That's certainly something I'd like to see but I can't say if or when we'll see that. Also looking for ways to improve the schedule page to help with this as well.

Definitely looking to improve visibility into the scene!

Well, it's not like there is competitive hots going on everyday 24/7. You can play the game and enjoy watching some competitive. If you follow the NA scene there is like one qualifier a week.

It's still strange that nobody on this sub wants to talk about it.

For what it's worth, February has like 5 days off in terms of esports content from our Global Circuit program, and that's not even noting awesome things like Enter the Storm, Chair League, Go4Heroes, etc.

Schedule link for you! (Fair warning some of the stream links have changed and need to be updated, working on that!)
