Anyone else disappointed in the lack of new supports?
From the last 17 heroes (including Varian and Rag), Auriel is the only new support since Morales (October 6, 2015).
I've always been a support main, so I might it a bit biased, but it's very disappointing to me that a role that's essentially picked every game for both teams got little love this entire year. I understand that every 4th new hero doesn't need to be support and that interesting healers might be hard to design, but 1 in 17? Talent reworks etc. are cool and all, but I really want new support content at this point.
I play on and off, so I don't follow the news too closely or if there is a reason why this is the case.

Players demanding Kel'Thuzad and Support heroes, I see only one viable path to take. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I hate to be the bearer of good news, but you should be seeing updates to Dehaka, Artanis and Diablo around the Ragnaros launch. ;)
Keep in mind we are not aiming Artanis as a solo warrior, though that doesn't mean he won't be able to, he is just going to be more of a bruiser still.

It is going to be a bit before the next support unfortunately, our apologies. =\ We've learned a lot about how much they do for the game, and we have quite a few on the docket for next year, I swear! This year was lighter than intended due to us converting Medivh from a full Support to a Specialist.
We are also working on the Warrior issue, making tweaks to live Warriors is something we are invested in doing right now (starting with Dehaka, coming later this year).
Thanks for your patience! <3
