So a guy went 1 win-9 lose on his placement ...

... and placed higher than he had ever been on his previous season.

He was Gold3 last season with over 100+ games played, now Platinum 1 with 1 win - 9 lose.

He wrote it in reddit chat, just after i came out a game, so i checked myself. Something is definitelly went wrong with that rank adjustment.

We're investigating these reports. Currently, it looks like there may have been an issue with the initial MMR seeding for some players when the season started, which would then cause where they ended up after placements to off. We're digging into it and should have more information soon.
