Minions only 50% more vs. Structures, Not 100%

Ravinix, could we get some insight on the changes made to Uther and Brightwing? I strongly feel that removing Block from Uther and moving Dream Shot to Level 1 wrecks the Talent Diversity. Removing Block from Uther keeps him a back line hero, and putting Dream Shot on Level 1 severely hurts building BW offensively as there's no offensive talent to take at Level 7. These are very, very, very big changes to how I play these heroes.

Good question, but not really one that I can answer with any confidence. The balance design team will be doing a Q&A here on reddit very soon, though, so hold on to that question and you'll get a chance to ask it again then.

We should have more specifics on the Q&A coming tomorrow.

Wait. In your example old footmen dealt 100% more damage to structures and new footman deals 200% more damage.

Did minions always have a 100% bonus to structures and now its 200%?

Did minions always have a 100% bonus to structures and now its 200%?

Yep! I should have specified this. Minions have always dealt double damage to structures. Today's patch increased the bonus to triple, meaning a 50% damage increase to structures when compared to the previous patch.

So, it's been 50% all this time or did they change it at the last moment and now we have 50%?

It was a mistake in the notes, no minion damage functionality has changed between PTR and today's patch.

    As an example:

    • Old Footman Minion dealt 15 damage (30 to Structures)
    • New Footman Minion deals 15 damage (45 to Structures)

    Sorry for the confusion!
