I assume the gold amount is TBA?

The value of the heroes (which will be normalized first) so no one feels like they got the short end of the stock.

Could you elaborate just a little further?

Let's say I own both Anubarak and Tyrande will I need to also own Thrall before I can see what the other options for Anubarak and Tyrande are or will they be available regardless of owning all 3 original options?

I think you got it, but to be sure...

If you own, say, Tyrande, you'll see Anub'arak, Thrall, and one other choice. I can't remember if we gave the backup list which is why I'm being vague there. Been a long week of interviews. :)

One interesting thing, next patch everyone will get a free hero, or gold if you already own everyone.

Bit more detail that we've been sharing here at Gamescom:

Initial selection is Tyrande, Anub'arak, and Thrall. If you own one or more of those, there are three other heroes that will backfill in so you have options. If you own all 6, you'll get gold instead.

Applies to both new players and existing ones.

Usual caveat: until this is actually live it could still change.
