Format

A best-of-5 match.

Each team bans one map. Then, the "home" team chooses a map for the first game. In the following games of a match, the losing team of the previous game will have the choice for Battlegrounds selection or first hero pick in the draft.

Game version

Matches in the HGC Western Clash are played on February 17 hotfix patch without the changes made in February 27 balance update. Specifically, this means that Lucio and reworked Murky are available to play, but nerfs to heroes like Tychus, Varian, Murky, Lucio, and Malfurion are not applied.

    Hm, that's understandable but still disappointing to hear. I was kinda wondering what the casters thought when a triple warrior comp was drafted and not being able to rewatch it on Twitch because my PC crashes when I open up 8 hours long VODs kinda sucks.

    Hey, /u/esportsmatt, the VOD is missing the start of the stream (the discussion and the introduction) and also more importantly, the draft. Can you guys fix this?

    There was a long delay between the end of the draft and the start of the game, this was not included in the VoD for that reason.
