About HGC, what's the point of having the casters in the studio?

They are just standing behind a desk; what difference would that make if they were home with a green background?

Okay the audio and internet are fair points, and for the visual cues you have (obviously) more experience in the domain than me. But we see them 5 minutes between each game, so the way it looks and the camera shots don't seem that important to me. And do the casters need to be at the same place than the production crew?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily against it. It's just that asking you guys to relocate to the other side of the world for a year seems a big ask in regard to the added value.

There's a lot of tertiary bonuses to working in person with people when your job centers around charisma.

(Also being on the same time zone helps)
