I understand now. I just feel betrayed right now that in-game we are held to a certain standard that the company themselves said they believe is socially appropriate but then someone with a large influence goes out and breaks everything that we had thought was right.
I'm disappointed and I apologize for the attacks in my comment. I just felt like a lot of trust was broken.

I fail to see how this is any worse than an Ex-Rioter wishing death to the community and his SO calling everyone sea lions is worse than what the now deleted comment said.
I didn't make that comparison, and regardless of which is "worse" my thoughts on this are the same. I can evaluate each independently, and my criticism of one does not preclude criticism of the other.

The combination of leaks and now your throwaway is serving only to undermine Rioters working on LCS, PAX, and other things around the world. You are contributing to the real disruption of our ability to deliver these things to players.

I don't really care where you or anyone else stands on any of the hot topics of the last days, weeks, whatever. Right now, we are trying to work for players. We are coordinating over email and the channels available to us. We are not letting this stop us from doing our jobs. What the fuck are you doing?
Btw r/lol, i get this is spicy fun and juicy news for many of you. I also know many of you want real talk from Riot and more communication. I'd really like to do the latter, but upvoting comments like this are only going to take our attention and time away from doing that.
