Playing With Friends
In the absence of an actual friend-challenging system in the game, my friend and I have resorted to trying to sync our queues and insta-forfeit if we don’t get matched up with each other, but that doesn’t seem to be working. Any suggestions on how we can do that better or for a better method?

We are actively working on friend-challenge, sorry it won't be in the first two Preview Patches! There really isn't a better way to battle a friend than the method you're trying, but I'm sure it's inconsistent. We will have this feature in a future update, apologies for the delay.
