What was the best card in your collection that you no longer have? Why don't you have it anymore?
I got a starter when magic first came out. In it I got a Mox Pearl. I traded it and all of the white cards I got to a stranger because "I didn't like white". Keep in mind I was 13.
Bonus idiocy: I got a grand total of 8 boosters of Legends. In those boosters I got 2 Tabernacles. One I traded away immediately because "Why would I want 2?" The second was stolen from me by a guy who liked to look at my cards and failed to put them all back. Eff you "Sable".

Yep. It was 1994 and I paid for three years at Rice U. dealing cards so I can't complain too much. It's a little scary that my cards in 1994 are probably over $1M now.
