The Report Sytem Is Wrongfully Muting Innocent Players

So I recently got an email from Blizzard saying I've been muted for a few days, my first mute ever. I've never been "toxic" to other players, and the only thing I ever type in all chat is reassurance to have fun and calm down when someone else is angrily all chatting.

I was wrong to do that, apparently. I was muted for multiple reports of "Abusive Chat" but I never said anything abusive. I was up against a bunch of "salty six stacks" (as my funny friend says) the day before my mute, so I can only assume they banded together to mass report me.

I try to keep Overwatch a fun place. I don't even report other people when they are mad. If someone is really bad I'll just mute them because in my experience muting someone myself is a faster solution than reporting and hoping/waiting Blizzard does something.

Blizzard should reconsider how they handle automated reports. I feel too saddened right now to even play.
