Launcher crashing while configuring files
So I haven't played since the 2nd Lucio games were coming to a near end due to various reasons. Loaded up my launcher today and it is instantly crashing upon trying to configure and install/download the new files from patches and updates. Launcher works fine for all the other games (which I don't have), the settings, and logging in and out. As soon as I open the Overwatch icon and the files start to process, the launcher crashes.
I have just recently uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher and tried again, but the issue still persists. Windows 10. Game shows that I am online and I am able to see online friends that are in-game for a brief moment before launcher crashes.

edit: I don't have time to open the options to try to repair/scan before it crashes. I updated my settings so it wouldn't automatically do anything in regards to game files. Launcher works fine until the moment I select "Overwatch" and it crashes.

Hey there, I looked a bit at this crash (thank you for providing the Unique ID) - this is a crash in the desktop client application itself, as a result I'm not certain what to do to address it.
If you're able to try reinstalling the desktop client that may help, otherwise please post the same detail you gave above in our tech support forums
