I think we all pretty much knew that. Big announcements would come from the devs, not the intern-run PR Twitter account.
Griffin is one of the key people behind PlayOverwatch and our other social media. He’s a fantastic person. He has a lot of responsibility and still manages to make me laugh every time I see a tweet from him.
Doing a console PTR is very challenging for us given the release schedule for Overwatch. There’s extra process we have to through with internal and first party teams, and the timing for PTR would overlap with the window we use for our certification. It’d be difficult for us to get a huge amount of value because we patch fairly quick.
We’re not against the idea and we make sure to keep the discussion open about it, but right now there’s no plan for a console PTR. Sorry folks.
