When is AMD gonna fix their drivers?

This issue has gone on for months now and it still has not been resolved. I can't play comp because i risk my game randomly crashing, I get XP penalties from leaving games and miss out on lootboxes in the arcade due to this crashing big that hasn't been fixed for 3 months. As far as I'm aware lots of players are having this issue and have been for months, when are AMD/Blizzard gonna pull their thumbs out of their ass and fix the problem?

In the interest of fairness, this is more of a Blizzard issue than an AMD one. I had the driver malfunction happen a couple months back with my R9 270x and I took the opportunity to upgrade my card immediately because of Blizzard, not AMD. I love Blizzard, but when it comes to fixing glitches and technical errors, you'll be waiting a long time and AMD can't exactly comb through the games code to figure out what's wrong without Blizzard investigating the issue as well. Honestly AMD has been great with driver support the last couple years, but don't expect this fix to come anytime soon because Blizzard honestly doesn't care (they have your money already).

Hey there OhSoFrisky. As a lead programmer on the Overwatch team I'm really sad that you feel this way. I know this issue is frustrating for players who are experiencing it, but we absolutely do care, and we're working together with AMD to try to fix the problem.

Whenever we have new information we'll be updating this thread on our tech support forums.
