Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Blizzard and the Overwatch League....

I am 38 and have an 8 year old son whom I am always trying to find ways to bond with. It doesn't come naturally to me as my own father bailed when I was about my son's age so I don't have much of a role model to go by. I never got into sports, watching grown men fight over a bouncy ball never really appealed to me. I did, however, cut my teeth on Hunt the Wumpus for the TI99 and have been playing video games ever since. My son, being 8, naturally gravitates towards video games as well. Long story short, we have been having a gas watching the Overwatch League games. Watching the games together and routing for our teams (he goes Valiant and I'm going Spitfire) and looking forward to trash talking each other come the 20th when they face off over a bowl of chips has been a pure joy that was missing. It means a lot to me and hopefully it will give him fond memories when he is older as well. So I just wanted to say thanks for giving a father and his son a few memories and laughs and good times. May heroes never die.
