PS4 CTF Bug?

Hey everyone. I love CTF and am so happy that it's back, but whenever I try to join in a party with my friends (either two or three of us), it goes to a bugged out skirmish that I'm sure we've all experienced (don't actually spawn, just choose your character over and over for eternity). So my friend tried to join the game I was in by spectating and waiting for someone to leave, but she ended up joining the opposite team. This was still fun, we played a few games, and then finally she was on the same team as me. After the game, we opted to "stay as team," so that we could finally play together in perpetuity. But when the new game loaded, her screen was frozen and she wasn't on my team. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know why this is happening? Has Blizzard addressed it?
