Newbie spectating Overwatch League
Is there a guide to watching overwatch? I don't understand anything that is happening on the screen.
Can someone please explain how the game works? What is the goal? Format?
Also, what are the team compositions like?

I don't have any videos that break down the game play handy, but I highly recommend a series of videos that MonteCristo created before the start of the season. Monte is one of the casters, he did a great job talking about the players and what to expect from them in this inaugural season.
