PS4 "Blindness" Glitch after latest patch -- Blizzard please fix

I've been playing a lot of competitive since the last patch, and right now there has been several occurrences of a strange glitch. For some reason when picking a hero people are unable to see their character, or their screen is described as fuzzy. Unless you restart your Overwatch Application manually, you continue to be "blind". This is costing people games because they have to leave for 30sec which could determine a match (especially on 2CP).

NOTE: I have not experienced the glitch myself, but other people throughout multiple games I've been with have reported it.
